In March 2002, the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) released the 15th International Phytosanitary Measures Standard, "Guidelines for the Management of Wood Packaging Materials in International Trade" (ISPM15). After the implementation of this standard, it has undergone multiple textual and content modifications, including the addition of pest control methods and the update of pest control indicators. The latest version was released in 2019.
